Brumbaugh Water Main
Project Description
Crews will construct approximately 2,300 feet of an 8-inch ductile iron water main, replacing the existing asbestos cement water mains located within the following areas:
- 326th Avenue NE
- 327th Avenue NE
- NE 47th Street
- 325th Avenue NE
- Parts of Milwaukee Avenue.
Work shall include, but is not limited to, replacement and relocation of the existing water main, connection to existing water services, replacement of fire hydrants and valves, connections to the existing system, general restoration, and asphalt paving. Estimated project length is 80 working days.
Project Updates
06/21/2024: Next week the Project Team will be starting on water services and relocate the meter boxes on some residential properties. If you are one of the residents, the contractor will knock on your door before entering your property. Thank you and pardon our dust!
05/31/2024- The Project Team will be finishing working on the east side of 326th street. If your driveway will be blocked, they will knock on your door to make sure you are not blocked in. After that is complete, they will start installing and relocating water service meters for each household. They will give you a heads up before working in front of your house. 05/24/2024 - The Project Team will be off site on Monday the 22nd for the observance of the Holiday. They will start back up on Tuesday the 28th. The plan is to head down 326th street work the east side of the street in the City's right of way. Door hangers will be delivered to notify residents. We are asking for any cars to be moved, but anything small the team can get it out of the way. If your driveway will be blocked, they will knock on your door to make sure you are not blocked in.
